Portrait Studio Opens to Employees
Would you like a professional portrait? Maybe you’re going to deliver a presentation at a conference and so you need one for a program. It could be the case that you already have a portrait but it’s become a bit dated. Perhaps it’d be good to have a head shot just because it might come in handy.
Well, you’re in luck! The PR office has established a portrait studio, and can take employees’ head shots every Tuesday between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m., and every Wednesday between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. No reservation is needed.
If this time is inconvenient, then you can arrange a portrait session by contacting Ryan Herman, public relations assistant.
Either way, it’s easy. Here are some FAQs about the process.
- Who will take my picture?
Either Ryan Herman or Sarah Gerass, the college’s public relations assistants will be on the other side of the camera. - Where is the studio?
It’s accessible through the Printshop, Room G159B. - How long will this take?
It will probably about 15 minutes to shoot your portrait. Processing time—creating a final image—will depend on the PR office’s workload. - Do I have to dress up or wear branded SUNY Niagara clothing?
That’s up to you. However, please avoid wearing a top that: is mostly white or mostly black, has a tight pattern, or is made of reflective or glittery cloth. - Who gets my photo?
The college will have access to your photo file and you can too. However, the college typically does not make or use prints. - Do I have to say: “cheeeeeeeese”?
This is optional.
