Five women in matching blue shirts sit and stand around a human skeleton model in a medical or radiology room with white tiles and equipment in the background. They are all smiling at the camera.

Radiology Technology AAS receives Cummings Foundation grant

Congratulations to the SUNY Niagara’s Radiologic Technology (Rad Tech) AAS program. The Cummings Foundation awarded funds, totaling $58,620 to update and modernize the lab facilities for one of the largest and most in demand programs at the College.

The program will purchase a new Laboratory X-Ray Machine to better prepare students for clinical rotations and employment by training them on equipment that mirrors the advanced technology used in the field.

Thank you to Michele Burke and the Grants team for their work on gathering the information and submitting the LOI and subsequent application leading to this award.

Our Radiologic Technology faculty and staff are an amazing team who look forward to this new addition.
