You’re Invited: Savor Seasonal Dinner – Student Showcase | April 11
Dear SUNY Niagara Faculty and Staff,
It is with great pride that we invite you to join us for our upcoming Savor Seasonal Dinner, a special Student Showcase, taking place on Saturday, April 11th at 6:00 PM.
This evening highlights the exceptional talent of our students at the Niagara Falls Culinary Institute. Under the guidance of Chef John Pope, a valued member of our faculty, each student has taken full ownership of a course—conceptualizing, developing, and executing their dish from start to finish. This experience represents a significant milestone in their culinary education, and we are excited to share the results of their hard work and creativity with our SUNY Niagara community.
The evening’s menu is as follows:
★ Spring Tartine with Pink Peppercorn Ricotta, Spring Caponata, Red Sorrel
★ Scallops with Brown Butter Beurre Blanc
★ Tortelli with Braised Beef
★ Citrus & Herb Scented Airline Chicken Breast with Carrot and Potato Purée and Sugar Snap Peas
★ Lemon Blueberry Petit Gâteau
Each course will be paired with a thoughtfully selected wine to complement the flavors of the dish.
