As part of this important new program, we are seeking internal candidates to fill two key roles that will help shape and lead this initiative. Interim ASAP Director (Grant Program Director) (Full-Time, 12-Month, SUNY Funded, Administrator position)
Reports to: Vice President of Student Services
The ASAP Director will provide leadership and oversight for the implementation and management of the ASAP program, supporting a cohort of approximately 150 students. This role is responsible for ensuring program success through strategic planning, staff supervision, collaboration across campus, and alignment with SUNY guidelines.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Leading program implementation and ensuring fidelity to the ASAP model
- Supervising and supporting program staff
- Managing program budget and resources
- Collaborating with Student Services and Academic Affairs to support student success and retention
- Monitoring program data and outcomes to inform decision-making
- Building partnerships across campus and with external stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in counseling, higher education, social work, or related field
- Experience in higher education administration with a focus on student success initiatives
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Salary Range: $56,754 – $65,267
ASAP Advisor – Technical Assistant (Full-Time, 12-Month, Para-Professional) – Temp
Reports to: ASAP Director
The ASAP Advisor will work directly with students, providing personalized academic advisement and comprehensive support using a case management approach. This role is essential in helping students overcome barriers and stay on track to graduate on time.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Providing academic advising, planning, and ongoing student support
- Conducting proactive outreach and early alert interventions
- Connecting students with campus and community resources
- Facilitating workshops on student success topics
- Monitoring student progress and maintaining detailed records
- Supporting recruitment, orientation, and retention initiatives
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in counseling, education, social work, psychology, or related field
- Experience in academic advising, counseling, or student services
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Salary: $49,309
