Give Input on Middle States Self-Study

Members of the SUNY Niagara Family,

Hopefully you are aware that we are going through the accreditation process, and several of your colleagues have, for some time, been working to develop a draft self-study report which must be submitted to Middle States in January.  I am asking that you take some time to review this Middle States Self-Study draft. The report is organized into a set of Standards, with each one examining specific aspects of the College’s functions.

As you read, please focus on one or two standards that best align with the work you do here.  The team has provided two links to the draft. One is read-only, and the second is a review copy that allows comments to be inserted. As you are reading, please focus on the degree to which the standards have been met. In particular, what has this reflection revealed (the findings) about our college,  and what are some next steps  (recommendations)?  Examples of findings and recommendations are located at the end of each standard chapter.

Lines of Inquiry are an aspect of the Self-Study required by Middle States. These were developed by the SUNY Niagara Middle States Steering Committee as part of the Self-Study design document. They frame some questions that the College would like to address as part of this process. Draft responses to each Line of Inquiry are located in a text box at the top of each Standard. Please provide any feedback that you have for these as well.

Please provide any feedback by Monday, December 16, 2024.
