GROUP STUDY DROP-IN SESSIONS
ACE is expanding opportunities for students to receive support without an appointment through scheduled Group Study Drop-In Sessions.
Group Study is available for:
• BIO 213
• BIO 214
• ENG 101
• MAT 106
• MAT 108
• MAT 110
• MAT 164
Students can stop in during scheduled group study hours to ask questions, review course material, work through concepts, and study alongside their peers with support from an ACE tutor.
No appointment is necessary! For current group study days, times, and locations, please visit the ACE webpage.
EXPANDED EMBEDDED TUTORING IN BRIGHTSPACE
Interested in having an ACE tutor embedded in your Brightspace course? Embedded tutors build familiarity with students and course content while also providing dedicated support through ACE.

ACADEMIC COACHING
Students don’t always need help with what they’re learning — sometimes they need help with how to be a college student.
Our new Academic Coach, Stephen S., is available Monday–Thursday from 9 AM–4:30 PM. Academic coaching can help students with:
• Time management and organization
• Study strategies
• Goal setting and accountability
• Building stronger habits
• Navigating academic challenges

FREE TUTORING
Students can work with ACE tutors in person or online for help across a variety of courses and subjects. Encourage students to connect with us early!
ACE IN THE CLASSROOM
Invite ACE to your classroom! We can provide brief introductions to ACE services, targeted presentations, or academic-success programming that complements your course. Sign up for ACE in the classroom here.
STAR-NY ONLINE TUTORING
Need tutoring after ACE closes? SUNY Niagara students have access to STAR-NY online tutoring Sunday–Thursday from 7 PM–midnight. Check out what STAR-NY has to offer students here.
STUDY SPACES & RESOURCES
ACE isn’t just for tutoring. Students can use our spaces to study, work between classes, access academic resources, and connect with support.

When completing your weekly Faculty Feedback in Banner, selecting “Seek Tutoring Services in ACE” does more than recommend tutoring to the student — it connects them directly with us!
ACE receives the referral and personally reaches out to each individual student with tutoring options available for the specific course you are teaching.
DID YOU KNOW? FACULTY HAVE ACCESS TO PENJI, TOO!
As a SUNY Niagara faculty member, you have access to Penji, the same platform students use to connect with ACE tutoring services.
You can use Penji to see what tutoring support is currently available for your courses. Penji can be accessed through the ACE webpage.
Mention us. Add us to Brightspace. Bring us into your classroom. Refer a student. Partner with us.
Faculty referrals remain one of the most effective ways students find their way to ACE. We are always happy to work with faculty to identify support needs, explore tutoring options, and develop strategies to better serve students who could benefit from additional academic support.
