Event flyer for JEDI Chat on October 21 discussing Pronouns, Respect & Belonging, featuring a TEDx talk by Mala Matacin, taking place from 2:30–3:00 p.m. at the Learning Commons.

JEDI Chat: Pronouns, Respect & Belonging!

In recognition of International Pronouns Day on October 21st, the JEDI Committee is excited to host our first JEDI Chat: Pronouns, Respect & Belonging!

JEDI Chats will provide an informal opportunity for our campus community to explore topics related to justice, equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging through shared learning and conversation.

For our first gathering, we’ll listen to a 15-minute TEDx talk by Mala Matacin titled “Why Gender Pronouns Matter.” This talk will serve as a conversation starter as we reflect on how everyday language can foster respect, connection, and a sense of belonging on our campus.
