Faculty Promotion and Early Tenure Committee

Greetings, colleagues.

As we delve into the 2026–27 Promotion and/or Early Tenure (PET) cycle, I requested names of representative from across academic areas to serve on the Faculty PET Committee, in keeping with Section 9.4.B of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Each area has submitted their names, and the committee has met with me to discuss not only expectations  of the members but also changes that have occurred in the process. 

Per our outlined process, I am to inform the college community of the selected members by the end of October.  In compliance with this process, I share the following names:

• Cathleen Barron – Hospitality, Baking, & Culinary Arts
• Tony Vinci – Arts, Humanities, & Social Sciences
• Don Topolski – Business & STEM
• Babette Strassburg – Nursing, Allied, & Physical Health
• Kait Schouten – Student Services
