SUNY Niagara Celebrates Medical Assistants Recognition Week!
October 19–23, 2026
This week, SUNY Niagara proudly celebrates Medical Assistants Recognition Week, honoring the dedication, compassion, and commitment of our Medical Assisting students, faculty, and staff.
Medical assistants play an essential role in healthcare, serving as a vital connection between patients and healthcare providers. Their clinical and administrative skills, professionalism, and compassion contribute to quality patient care and the success of healthcare teams.
We extend a special thank you to our Medical Assisting faculty and staff for their continued dedication to educating, mentoring, and preparing the next generation of healthcare professionals. We also recognize our Medical Assisting students for their hard work, perseverance, and commitment to developing the knowledge and skills needed to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
We would also like to acknowledge the Dean of Nursing, Physical and Allied Health Dr. Martha Kershaw, the Admissions Team, and the Student Success Team for their ongoing support of our students and program. Your contributions help create opportunities for students to succeed from enrollment through graduation and beyond.
To everyone who plays a role in supporting our Medical Assisting program, thank you for your dedication to student success and for helping prepare the healthcare workforce of tomorrow!
Happy Medical Assistants Recognition Week!
