Join Donna Simiele from Online Learning as she presents Slide by Slide: Creating Accessible PowerPoints. This session will guide you through best practices for designing PowerPoint presentations that are accessible to all learners. You’ll learn how to use slide layouts correctly, apply meaningful slide titles, add alternative text to images, and ensure sufficient color contrast.

Wednesday, 10/22, 1:00pm–FRCAE Presents Faculty Feature–John D Strong on Purposeful Competition
Join us in the FRCAE Conference Room or on Teams for this exciting workshop! Purposeful Competition is an instructional framework that has the potential to transform your educational space positively for both you, the educator, and your students. This 45-minute presentation will outline the basic tenets of Purposeful Competition, connect to its immediate use within your learning environment, and leave you with takeaways that may also positively impact your life outside of the classroom as well. So for those of you with the College community that do not work in an instructional capacity, the answer is “YES” this could absolutely benefit you, too. This presentation will leave 15 minutes at the end for questions so that you can internalize the information and work to make your tomorrow 1% better than today!
