Monday, 12/8, 12:00pm–SUNY CPD Presents: Integrating SUNY Updated Information Literacy General Education into Courses
Joins SUNY CPD for this 60-minute presentation and Q&A where they will
review the Information Literacy core competency SLOs; describe general
learning objectives related to AI literacy; and offer examples of AI literacy

Wednesday, 12/10, 1:00pm–Advising Workshop
Come learn everything an advisor needs to know about Financial Aid. In FRCAE Conference Room or in Teams.

Thursday, 12/11, 12:30pm–Lunch & Learn: Empowering Students with AI: Preparing Community College Learners for the Future
Join us for an engaging panel discussion from Innovative Educators as we explore the transformative power of AI literacy for students. Dr. Jory Hadsell, Vice Chancellor and Chief Technology Officer at Foothill-De Anza Community College District, and Sylvia Dorsey-Robinson, education consultant, will explore strategies and resources to help students understand, utilize, and ethically navigate AI tools in their academic and
professional journeys. In the FRCAE Conference Room.

Don’t forget FRCAE’s Extra Credit Cocoa Bar on 12/17! At any time during the day, come and get yourself some extra credit cocoa and a cookie. Drop off a food donation for the campus food pantry, make a cup of cocoa (or coffee or tea), grab a cookie, and take a break.
