2:00pm—See, Hear, Access: Making Videos Inclusive from Start to Finish
In this session, participants will learn practical strategies and tools for creating inclusive, accessible video materials from start to finish. We’ll explore how to use YuJa’s and YouTube’s built-in Closed Captioning (CC) tools, including automatic caption generation and caption editing, to ensure accuracy and readability. 2:00pm–Developing Accessible and Inclusive PDFs
We’ll cover the key principles of accessible PDF creation, starting with best practices in the source document and moving into tools for checking and fixing accessibility issues after export. Participants will explore how to create properly tagged PDFs, add meaningful alternative text, ensure correct reading order, and verify accessibility using Adobe Acrobat’s built-in accessibility checker.
