Interim Dean of the College of Nursing, Physical and Allied Health
SUNY Niagara is seeking an internal candidate to serve as Interim Dean of the College of Nursing, Physical and Allied Health. This interim appointment will provide leadership and oversight for the division’s academic programs until a permanent Dean is selected through a formal search process.
Reporting directly to the Vice President of Academic Affairs, the Interim Dean will be responsible for guiding the division’s strategic initiatives, ensuring academic excellence, supporting faculty development, and maintaining accreditation and regulatory compliance.
This is a temporary, internal appointment open to qualified SUNY Niagara employees. Interested candidates will need to have the following qualifications to serve in this role:
- Master’s degree with a major in nursing;
- Current certification as a Registered Nurse in New York State
- Experience with curriculum development and assessment of learning for nursing and/or allied health programs;
- Experience with development and/or review of accreditation self-studies, program reviews, and/or responses to site visits;
- Experience with mentoring faculty;
