Interim Director of Grants & Resource Development

SUNY Niagara is seeking an internal candidate to serve as Interim Director of Grants & Resource Development.  This is a full-time 12-month college-funded Administrator position in the Grants Office.

Reporting directly to the Assistant to the President for Governmental Relations and Strategic Initiatives, the Interim Director will be responsible for the development of new grants and sources of funding; the administration, coordination, monitoring, and timely reporting requirements of the College’s external grant programs; and the submission of necessary documentation to continue receiving funding from the grant. 

This interim appointment is open to qualified SUNY Niagara employees. Interested candidates will need to have the following qualifications to serve in this role:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Two (2) years’ experience writing, administering, and coordinating grants from state, federal, or private sector sources;
  • Experience developing and administering budgets;
  • Experience with online grant application and report submission processes.
  • Excellent writing skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience reviewing detailed, formal agreements such as contracts and Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs).
