Meet Leah Tompkins
Leah Tompkins brings several years of experience in student affairs to her new role as SUNY Niagara’s assistant director of leadership and civic engagement. Among her previous positions are assistant director of student activities and the student center at Tompkins Cortland Community College and peer success coaching graduate assistant at Binghamton University. She’s also a Binghamton University graduate, having earned a master’s degree in student affairs administration and a bachelor’s degree in human development there.
Outside of work, Tompkins enjoys spending time with family, reading, concerts, and exploring nature. A passionate sports fan, she roots for the Bills, Sabres, Mets and Knicks. Tompkins hopes to visit every continent and fondly recalls a two-week trip to southern India in 2024.
