Meet Our Team: David M. 👋
David has been teaching reading and writing at SUNY Niagara since 2011. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Notre Dame and pursued graduate studies in Social Studies Education and Literacy at D’Youville and Medaille. Through his work in ACE, David helps students strengthen their reading and writing skills and approach their coursework with greater confidence.
Outside of SUNY Niagara, David is a professional stage actor in Buffalo. He also enjoys fishing local streams with his brother and painting wildlife scenes on birch wood panels.

Meet Our Team: Aidan F. 👋
Aidan has served as a Professional Tutor in ACE since Fall 2023. A SUNY Niagara alumnus, he earned his associate degree in Liberal Arts before completing his bachelor’s degree in History at the University at Buffalo in 2021. Aidan supports students with history courses, writing assignments, and public speaking projects, helping them strengthen their understanding of course material, develop effective communication skills, and build confidence in their academic work.
Outside of ACE, Aidan enjoys following the Buffalo Sabres, spending time with friends, and playing video games.

Meet Our Team: Lynn B. 👋
Lynn brings extensive experience teaching writing at SUNY Niagara as both a member of the English Department and a Professional Tutor in ACE. She has also taught and tutored at the University of Miami, Niagara University, and Miami-Dade College. Lynn holds a B.A. in Theatre from Florida Atlantic University and an M.A. in English from Florida State University and received the SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Adjunct Teaching in 2017.
Lynn loves showing students that writing doesn’t have to be intimidating—and that it can actually be enjoyable, even proofreading!

Meet Our Team: Chris B. 👋
Chris earned his Master of Arts in Psychology from Medaille University in 2016 and joined ACE in 2023. As both a Professional Tutor and psychology instructor, he supports students across biology, psychology, human services, sociology, and writing. Chris is passionate about creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students can build confidence, strengthen their critical-thinking skills, and work toward their academic goals.
Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending time with his family, tending to his chickens and ducks, and sim racing.
