Regional Culinary Competition Winner

Devin Sierra, a 1st year student at NFCI in the Culinary arts program, came in first place at the Chaine des Rotisseurs Junior Chef Competition held this past Friday 4/10/26 in Newport, Rhode Island.  The competition was a mystery basket format where the ingredients were revealed to him moments before the cooking began.  Some of his mystery ingredients included whole duck and whole bronzino (bass fish) which needed to be fabricated / butchered showing knowledge and skill.
 
Devin will be one of 4 culinarians who will be competing this June for the national title in Philadelphia, PA.
