Reminder – Register using your SUNY Niagara credentials for printing

The Pharos Print desktop app enables you to register for Secure Release. During registration, the Print Scout obtains your e-mail address, which then becomes your identity for printing.

To check and see if you have the Pharos Cloud Print application installed:

• Click the “Show hidden icons” arrow in the lower right corner of your screen.  If you do not see an icon shaped like a copier (and labeled Pharos Print when you hover over it), the application is not installed.

To start user registration, follow these steps:

1. On a Windows or macOS workstation, either submit a print job by selecting “Pharos Secure Printer” as your Printer or click on the Pharos Print desktop app to begin the registration process.
2. Click the Login to continue link that will appear on    computer screen.

1. You will be prompted for your SUNY Niagara e-mail address and password.
2. When authentication is successful, you will see a “Authenticated successfully” message. You are now registered to Secure Release.
3. Once logged in, you can submit subsequent print jobs without having to provide credentials again.
