Summer Book Discussion Series

This summer, FRCAE and Kait Schouten from the Student Success Center will be hosting a book discussion series in FRCAE focused on Better Allies: Everyday Actions to Create Inclusive, Engaging Workplaces by Karen Catlin.

Thursday, 5/21, 11:00am-12:30pm
We will cover the Introduction and Part I (Chapters 1-3).

Wednesday, 6/24, 11:00am-12:30pm
We will cover Part II (Chapters 4-8).

Thursday, 7/23, 11:00am-12:30pm
We will cover Part II (Chapters 9-13) & “Interviewing While White and Male.”

Limited copies of the book will be available shortly. You can RSVP and receive a copy on a first come, first served basis.

Whether you have a copy or not, you are welcome to attend and join the discussion! There is no need to attend all sessions or finish the reading to participate.
