Updates on the SUNY Reconnect program:

SUNY Reconnect Sessions for Adult Learners

  • (Wed) June 25th Remote Information Session 12PM-1PM (to allow attendees to possibly view on their lunch hour at work)
  • (Tue) July 8th – Remote Information Session 5:30-6:30PM (to allow 9-5 workers to attend)
  • (Wed) July 23rd – In-person Information Session 5:30-6:30PM in Learning Commons (to allow 9-5 workers to attend)
    • Registration session scheduled 3-7pm.
    • Various department tables to be set up for attendees before and after the presentation for specific questions.

As it stands right now, students need to be:

  • Age 25-55
  • In an approved program (see below)
  • No prior degree
  • Have to have applied for TAP and PELL (last dollar program)
  • Minimum of 6 credit hours per semester

The digital campaign targeting “adult” prospective students began on June 16th. It’s forecasted to generate about a million impressions from now until the end of August.
