Welcome Lisa Kudla
Lisa Kudla has joined the college as an instructor in the Animal Management program, bringing experience in science and environmental education, and community engagement. Kudla most recently served as a STEAM teacher at West Buffalo Charter School. Previous roles include regional nature play lead for the Association of Zoos and Aquariums, and onsite programs manager and education programs specialist at the Buffalo Zoo. Kudla earned a master’s degree in teaching biology from Miami University and a bachelor’s degree in zoology from SUNY Oswego.
Outside of work, Kudla enjoys spending time with family, hiking, running, reading, singing, dancing and exploring the outdoors. A longtime wildlife enthusiast, Kudla counts travels to South Africa and Namibia among favorite experiences and hopes to visit every continent. Kudla is also a Buffalo Bills fan and shares an impressive collection of bones, furs and fossils, displayed in a museum corner at her home.
