Optimizing Digital Learning | Online Course Development Training Series
The Online Teaching Academy will begin our Optimizing Digital Learning Training series tomorrow. This training is required for some faculty developing online courses for the first time at SUNY Niagara. However, we invite anyone to join in on our sessions. There is always something new to learn, and it can serve as a great PD opportunity to review and refresh your current online, hybrid, blended, or hyflex course(s). You can also help new online instructors by providing your experiences, sharing best practices, and serving as a mentor.
Each one-hour live session is through Zoom, followed by online course activities to help ensure courses are designed to meet quality and compliance standards set forth by the SUNY OSCQR rubric.
This course follows the course development and design model through this faculty playbook created and distributed by the Online Learning Consortium. The course is for faculty with all levels of experience. It will help you Design, Enhance, or Optimize any digital learning course, including Blended, Hybrid, Hyflex, or 100% Online.
Each live session is scheduled for 2:00-3:00 pm via Zoom Link. Each session will be recorded and shared.
