Firkins earns weekly honors

Congratulations to SUNY Niagara sophomore Adam Firkins for being named Region III Men’s Golf Athlete of the Week. The returning NJCAA All-American was medalist at the Tompkins-Cortland Invitational after firing an even-par 71 at Elm Tree GC. Firkins and the Thunderwolves set a new Region III team scoring record with 291 total strokes. Firkins was fourth at the Onondaga Invite with a four-over par 76 at Sunset Ridge GC.
