Curious How Students in Your Courses Use ACE Tutoring?
Dear Colleagues,
The Academic Center for Excellence (ACE) has launched a new ACE SharePoint Page to make key information and updates easier to access across campus.
One of the main features of the site is the Current Semester Usage Data report. This report provides an up-to-date look at how students are using ACE services, including:
-
Weekly check-ins and tutoring appointments
-
Tutoring activity by content areas (ex. BIO, MAT, CRJ), showing both unique appointments and unique students
-
Tutoring activity by course (ex. BIO 213), also including unique appointments and unique students
-
Tutoring activity by academic major, with counts of unique appointments and unique students—for example,
“Students enrolled in CIS have attended tutoring for the following courses…”
This level of detail helps us better understand student needs, identify where additional support may be helpful, and track how academic assistance connects to student success.
We encourage faculty and staff to explore the new SharePoint page and review the usage data. I welcome suggestions on how we can further disaggregate or present the data in ways that support faculty efforts and strengthen student success. Please feel free to reach out with ideas or feedback.
