Nominate Students for the SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Student Excellence

The SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Student Excellence is the highest honor a SUNY student can receive. Faculty and staff are encouraged to nominate students who have demonstrated exceptional achievement, leadership, and impact.

Eligibility:

  • Students graduating between June 2025 and May 2026
  • Exceptional academic performance
  • Demonstrated SUNY excellence in at least three of the following areas:
    • Academics
    • Leadership
    • Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Justice
    • Campus Involvement, Civics & Service
    • Research & Development
    • Arts (creative or performing)

Nominations should highlight accomplishments during the student’s time at SUNY Niagara, such as athletics, advocacy, student government, club involvement, volunteer work, research, or other achievements that demonstrate excellence.

How to Nominate:
Complete the online nomination form including:

  • Your information (name, email, department, position, connection to student)
  • Nominee information (name, major, T-Wolves email, student ID)
  • A compelling statement describing why the student deserves this award

Notification:
Nominated students will be contacted by the Office of Student Life to submit additional supporting materials, such as a resume, personal statement, or examples of their work.

Deadline:
Monday, December 8, 2025, at 5:00 PM
