ATTENTION: Faculty Feedback During Census Weeks
As we enter the Weeks 3-4 Census period, please note an updated attendance reporting option, “Attended less than 50%,” designed to support early outreach to students. Faculty feedback during this time is essential to identifying students who may need additional support and connecting them with campus resources.
NOTE:
- Weeks 3-4 (Census): We worked with IT and Records to add in an additional option for “Attended less than 50%” to initiate outreach to the student (these students will not be de-registered) “Not Attended” will still be administratively withdrawn.
- Faculty also indicated that ideally reporting on Low Participation and Missed Assignments are the most applicable indicators at this time. Starting weeks 3-4 faculty can report this information in faculty feedback.
As faculty, the information you provide through Faculty Feedback is essential to providing wrap-around services that support student success. When you submit a student issue, concern, recommendation, or positive recognition, the student will receive an email notification the next business day. Success Coaches will follow up as and connect with resources.
How to Submit Faculty Feedback:
- Banner Web → Faculty & Advisor Tab → Faculty Feedback Alerts
- Select the course you are reporting on
- Click anywhere in the course row to open your class roster
- Submit feedback, recommendations, and comments for each student
(All comments are viewable by students)
Please review the Spring 2026 Faculty Feedback Window Guide for detailed instructions. Thank you for your continued participation throughout the semester.
