Athletics begins partnership with 1340 WLVL

SUNY Niagara athletics has started a partnership with Hometown 1340 WLVL in Lockport to broadcast the school’s sporting events. This will begin with four baseball doubleheaders broadcast exclusively on WLVL.com.

Sports Information Director Joe Kraus will provide the play-by-play commentary inside the Doug Smith Press Box at Sal Maglie Stadium in Niagara Falls. Here is the broadcast schedule, weather permitting, with a pre-game show expected to start 15 minutes before first pitch:

Thursday April 9 2 p.m. vs Tompkins Cortland Community College
Sunday April 12 2 p.m. vs Jamestown Community College
Sunday April 18 1 p.m. vs Erie Community College
Sunday May 3 (regular season home finale) 1 p.m. vs Corning Community College
