Celebrate Banned Books Week with the Lewis Library

The Lewis Library currently has a display in support of Banned Books Week and the freedom of everyone to read. It consists of a collection of books in our collection that have been challenged in book censorship attempts and a binder of related information and handouts prepared by librarian Michelle Harris. You can find additional information on the American Library Association’s Banned Books site.

To celebrate please stop by the library Oct 4-10 to check out the display. We also have other displays including new ones of Halloween titles and items celebrating National Hispanic Heritage Month.
