Gingerbread House Builders Needed!
The Niagara Falls Culinary Institute invites you, your students, friends, family, troop, and clubs to enter our annual Gingerbread Competition. Every entry will be displayed in our Gingerbread Village on December 5 and 6, where hundreds of visitors will see it. Please feel free to share this information with anyone you think might be interested!
There’s a division category for everyone:
- Children (grades K–5)
- Middle School (grades 6–8)
- High SchoolÂ
- College 1 and College 2 (culinary and baking students)
- Amateur (ages 14 and up, no formal training)
- Professional
Prizes are awarded in every division, including gift cards of up to $100 for Children’s and Middle School winners and up to $300 for High School winners.
It’s a great group project for a classroom, troop meeting or family weekend. Â

- Every part of the house must be edible (no candy wrappers or foil)
- Drop off your entry at NFCI, 28 Old Falls Street, Niagara Falls, on Thursday, December 3, between 9:30 am and 4:30 pm
