Barr named NJCAA Division III Pitcher of the Year

Matt Barr added another milestone on Monday as he received the NJCAA Division III Pitcher of the Year honors after helping the Thunderwolves win a program-record 51 games. Barr went 10-0 in 10 starts with a 1.74 ERA, posted team-highs in strikeouts (94) and innings pitched (57) and recorded four complete games and two shutouts. Since May, Barr has also been named the WNYAC Baseball Player of the Year and Freshman Athlete of the Year, both a first-team All-WNYAC and NJCAA Region III Division III selection and a NJCAA Division III All-American.
