Meet Our Team: Stevie S. 👋
Stevie joined ACE as an Academic Coach in Fall 2026 after spending five years working in a high school setting. A graduate of Butler University, he earned his bachelor’s degree in Healthcare and Business with a minor in Psychology. Stevie helps students develop strategies for time management, studying, and organization while encouraging a healthy balance between academics and life. He strives to create a comfortable space where students can have honest conversations about their challenges, goals, and next steps.
Outside of ACE, Stevie enjoys basketball, coffee shops, and farmers’ markets throughout Western New York.

Meet Our Team: Isaac K. 👋
Isaac joined ACE as a Professional Tutor in Fall 2026. He holds a master’s degree in English from Arizona State University and a PhD in English from the University at Buffalo. Since 2020, he has taught college-level literature and writing courses at several Western New York colleges and received UB’s Excellence in Teaching Award for Graduate Students. Isaac is passionate about making writing welcoming and accessible and helping students recognize its value in their academic, professional, and personal lives.
Outside of ACE, Isaac enjoys playing guitar, cooking and baking, and spending time with his family.

Meet Our Team: Maddie G. 👋
Maddie may be new to her role as a Professional Tutor, but she’s certainly not new to ACE! She first joined the team as a student tutor in Spring 2025 while pursuing her associate degree in Computer Science. After graduating from SUNY Niagara in May 2026, Maddie returned to ACE as a Professional Tutor while continuing her education at the University at Buffalo. As both a SUNY Niagara alumna and former student tutor, she especially enjoys helping students build confidence and succeed in their own educational journeys.
Outside of ACE, Maddie enjoys video games, singing, playing guitar, and volunteering with the Niagara SPCA.
