National Coming Out Day – October 11th

Friday, October 9, we will recognize National Coming Out Day, a day that celebrates LGBTQ+ visibility, courage, authenticity, and the importance of creating spaces where everyone feels welcomed and supported.

There will be an information and awareness table in the Learning Commons from 2:00–3:00 p.m. We invite faculty, staff, and students to stop by, say hello, and help us celebrate and show support for our LGBTQ+ students and colleagues.

We’ll have stickers, pins, shirts, and other items available, along with resources and opportunities to learn more about LGBTQ+ inclusion and belonging.

Whether you identify as LGBTQ+ or simply want to be an ally, everyone is welcome!

We hope you’ll stop by and help us create a campus environment where everyone feels seen, valued, respected, and able to be their authentic selves.
