NEW!  Entering Pre-Requisite/Co-Requisite Overrides in Banner Web

Advisors can now enter pre-requisite and/or co-requisite overrides for students in the Advisor Profile in Banner Web!  This new functionality will allow students to immediately register for the course once the override is entered!  The new process is easy and allows for speedier registration for the student.  Students will no longer need to wait for the override to be entered by staff.  Detailed instructions are available in Brightspace under Records in “Faculty/Staff Resources”.

Please note that the current option for Advisors to enter the pre-requisite and/or co-requisite notes in Degree Works is still available for those who choose to utilize that.  Keep in mind that any overrides entered through the Degree Works Notes will not be instant and will need to be entered by staff before the student will be able to register.
