SUNY Academic Innovation Grants–Now Open for Applications!
The SUNY Academic Innovation Grants (IITG and OER Impact Grants) are now open for the 2026–2027 cycle, offering over $1 million to support projects that advance teaching, learning, and student success. This year’s focus areas include AI, openness, and accessibility. Please share this opportunity with faculty and staff on your campus.
- Applications must be submitted through the Grant Application Portal.
- Guidance – including a Quick Start Guide, evaluation rubric, FAQ, and other resources – is available on the SUNY Academic Innovation Grants website.
- Proposals accepted Jan 4–Mar 1, 2026, with awards announced in May 2026.
- Information Session on Friday, January 23 at 11am (Zoom link) – open to all applicants, campus grant officers, campus business officers, and anyone else who may be involved in a grant project.
