SUNY Niagara Day of Hunger Action Friday, November 7

SUNY Niagara proudly joins campuses across New York State to shine a spotlight on food insecurity as part of the statewide SUNY Day of Hunger Action. This year, we’re kicking off a month-long campus effort, the “No Thunderwolf Goes Hungry” initiative, our Community Impact Project for November.

Our goal: To collect 500 pounds of nonperishable food and hygiene products to support SUNY Niagara students.

HOW TO HELP
  1. Drop off donations at the Notar Administration Building Lobby or Office of Student Life (G-243).
  2. Shop the Amazon Wish List to have items shipped directly to the Food Pantry!
  3. Give to the Food Pantry Fund through the NCCC Foundation: Donate here

Extended Food Pantry Hours Now Open 7 Days a Week:

  • Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri: 12–6 PM
  • Thurs: 12–7 PM
  • Sat: 9 AM–12 PM
  • Sun: 11 AM–1:30 PM

Know a student who needs immediate help? Complete the Emergency Food Request Form, and we’ll prepare food and essentials for you right away.

On-Campus Support:

  • SUNY Niagara’s Empire State Service Corps students are staffing the Food Pantry and leading efforts to end student hunger.
  • FeedMore WNY representatives will be on the Sanborn Campus to answer SNAP questions and offer assistance:
    • Wednesday, November 12 | 9–11 AM
    • Thursday, November 20 | 9–11 AM

Let’s come together this November to raise awareness, take action, and ensure that No Thunderwolf Goes Hungry. Every item, every dollar, and every act of kindness make a difference!
