Swipe it Forward Donation Program

As we enter the month of November and reflect on what we are thankful for, it is a fitting time to launch “Swipe It Forward”, a new meal donation program created by the JEDI committee designed to support our SUNY Niagara students.

We know that unexpected financial challenges can make it difficult for students to afford meals while balancing the demands of college, work, and other responsibilities. Sometimes, something as simple as having access to a meal can make a meaningful difference in a student’s day and help them stay focused on their education.

Swipe It Forward gives SUNY Niagara employees and students a chance to make a difference by donating meal swipes or NTripp Dollar Points to help students who may need temporary meal assistance.

There are two ways to donate:

If you feel inclined to help, you can donate to the Swipe It Forward General Fund, which provides meal assistance to eligible students, or donate directly to a student you know who needs it.

Donations of any size can make a difference. Whether you choose to donate a meal swipe, contribute NTripp Dollar Points, or simply help spread the word, your participation can help ensure that a fellow student has access to a meal when they need it most.

As we celebrate Thanksgiving and the spirit of generosity that comes with it, Swipe It Forward is a reminder that small acts of kindness can have a lasting impact. By coming together as a campus community, we can help support our students, strengthen their sense of belonging, and demonstrate that their success matters to all of us.
