A yellow diamond road sign reads END OF THE WORLD JUST AHEAD against a dark, stormy sky with swirling clouds and a flash of lightning.

Teaching at the End of the World Pt. II: Working in a Wounded Wor(l)d—Touching Trauma as a Teaching Strategy

Whether you had the opportunity to participate in Part I during PD Days, this session with Tony Vinci has a lot of food for thought.

Beginning with a brief summary of the concepts explored in Pt. I (exopedagogy, apocalypse, traumatic identities, eucatastrophe, SLEs), this presentation explores multiple definitions of trauma to help us feel-with current cultural wounds while “engaging the traumatic” as an everyday teaching practice.

This session is offered live (no Teams or recording) in FRCAE on Tuesday, March 3rd, at 2:00pm.
