Updates for Spring 2026 – Banner Web Faculty Feedback (Early Alerts)

Thank you for the recommendations shared through Faculty Senate. Based on your feedback, several updates have been made to Faculty Feedback in Banner Web.

  • Weeks 1-2: Faculty Feedback alert submissions will be optional for student concerns you would like a success coach to reach out for there are several related to common beginning of semester concerns.
  • Weeks 3-4 (Census): We are working with IT and Records to add in an additional option for “Attended less than 50%” to initiate outreach to the student (these students will not be de-registered) “Not Attended” will still be administratively withdrawn. Faculty also indicated that ideally reporting on Low Participation and Missed Assignments are the most applicable indicators at this time.

As faculty, the information you provide through Faculty Feedback is essential to providing wrap-around services that support student success. When you submit a student issue, concern, recommendation, or positive recognition, the student will receive an email notification the next business day. Success Coaches will follow up as and connect with resources.
