Beilein, Men’s Basketball announces eight additions to ‘26-27 roster

SANBORN — Eight players, including two transfers, will join the SUNY Niagara men’s basketball roster for the 2026-27 season. Thunderwolves head men’s basketball coach Bill Beilein announced the news Thursday.

The newcomers include Naceive Fenton (Kettering, Ohio), Tyler Greene (Peekskill, N.Y.), Jaydian Johnson (Jamestown, N.Y.), Aidan Neumann (Wilson, N.Y.) Chris Powell (East Rochester, N.Y.), Maksym Shepel (Cherkasy, Ukraine), Pregnon “Milli” Titi (Queens, N.Y.) and Basti Williams (Manhattan, N.Y.).

SUNY Niagara finished 17-10 last season and won 12 of its last 18 games since December after a 5-4 start. The Thunderwolves appeared in the NJCAA Region III Division II Final Four for the 14th time in the last 17 years, all under head coach Bill Beilein.

“Last season’s team was very young, had to play a very tough schedule and averaged the least amount of assists per game (12.9) and the least amount of 3-pointers made per game (7.3) in the last decade,” Beilein said, now entering his program-record 18th season at the helm with a program-record 354 wins. “For our recruiting class of 2026, we were targeting high-character student-athletes that had a feel for the game and shot-making abilities.”
