Basketball standout earns weekly honor

SUNY Niagara freshman guard Chioke Marshall was named Region III Men’s Basketball Athlete of the Week on Tuesday.

Marshall was named Region III Div. II Tournament MVP this past weekend after averaging 29.5 points per game and shooting over 60% from the field, including 11-of-15 from behind the arc.

Marshall had 28 points in the Thunderwolves’ 97-76 semifinal win over Jamestown CC and 31 points in a 71-70 victory over Monroe CC in the championship game. #RollWolves
