Helping Strengthen Support for Adult Learners at SUNY Niagara

As part of SUNY’s continued commitment to better understanding and supporting adult learners across its campuses, SUNY Niagara is participating in the Adult Learner 360 Assessment from the Council for Adult and Experiential Learning (CAEL).

CAEL is a national leader in adult learning and prior learning assessment, with more than 50 years of experience helping colleges and universities strengthen programs and services for adult learners.

Selected faculty and staff will receive an email from me tomorrow (4/17) with a link to complete the Institutional Effectiveness Questionnaire.

Your feedback is incredibly valuable and will help us better understand how effectively we are serving this important and growing student population.

If you receive an invitation, please take a moment to complete the survey. CAEL is seeking a 100% response rate from participating faculty and staff. Your participation is significant.

Assessment Details:

  • This effort brings together institutional perspectives and adult learner experiences to identify strengths and opportunities for growth.
  • The Institutional Effectiveness Questionnaire is being completed by selected administrators, faculty, and staff who are likely to work with adult learners.
  • The survey is anonymous and takes approximately 20 minutes.
  • At the same time, adult students are being invited to share their perspectives through a separate satisfaction survey.

We appreciate your time, insight, and continued support in this important campus-wide effort!

If you have any questions, please contact the Vice President of Student Services, Dr. John Delate.

Thank you!
