Mother Courage
Bertolt Brecht’s Mother Courage and Her Children uses the 30 Years War as a backdrop to comment on the ravages of war in 20th Century Europe. Sadly, Anna Fierling’s journey across the bleak landscape of Eastern Europe in the 17th Century is as relevant in the world today as it was in Brecht’s time. SUNY Niagara’s theater department students will present this stirring piece November 18-21.
